This is a surprisingly pleasant white monovarietal wine (aged sur lie) from Moschofilero. Bright clear medium lemon green colour wine with wide rim and some tears on the glass. On the nose it is clean with developing, medium+ intensity aromas suggesting honeysuckle, green apple, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, elderflower, banana and hints of oak vanilla. On the palate it is dry, with medium acidity, medium+ alcohol level, medium body and medium+ flavor intensity, displaying honeysuckle, elderflower, green apple, peach, nectarine, banana, and pear. The juicy fruit is balanced by a lively acidity and generous alcohol. Its texture is creamy for an overall hot-climate, expressive and aromatic wine. Its length is medium. The quality is very good for a well-balanced, rich in concentration and with good complexity wine of medium+ length. Great example of a Moschofilero that has ageing potential and is pleasing to enjoy now with fish dishes and Greek meze.
