This is a clear bright medium garnet color wine with tawny hues and long legs on the glass. Clean on the nose with medium intensity of sweet aromas suggesting of honey, strawberry, prune, burnt caramel, coffee, sultana, fig, marmelade, vanilla and dark cherry. Fully developed. Sweet on the palate with medium acidity, low soft tannins, low alcohol, full body and medium+ flavor intensity displaying melon, sultana, fig, honey, raisin, burnt sugar, tobacco, dark cherry, marmelade, jaminess, vanilla and cloves. The cloying sweetness is balanced by a zesty acidity and a well-defined, yet hot climate fruit is expressed. Long finish. Good quality wine with structure and balance between its components, good concentration, some complexity. Drink now but can age another 10 years, typical Riveraltes Tuile Grenache VDN 24yo.
